Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to making this website usable for everyone.

Last updated: 17 April 2026

AGM Roofing & Building is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, including people with visual, auditory, cognitive, or motor impairments.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at Level AA. This is the standard most commonly used across UK public-sector and private-sector websites.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure on every page
  • Keyboard navigation for all interactive elements, with a visible skip-to-content link and visible focus styles
  • Descriptive alternative text on all meaningful images, with decorative images marked as such
  • Sufficient colour contrast for body text and interactive elements, tested against WCAG 2.2 AA thresholds
  • Form inputs with associated labels, clear required-field indicators, and descriptive error messages
  • Motion and animation that respects the prefers-reduced-motion operating system setting
  • Responsive layouts that adapt to mobile, tablet, and desktop without horizontal scrolling at common breakpoints

Known limitations

We are not aware of any significant accessibility issues at the time of writing. Third-party embeds (such as the Google Maps iframe on our contact page) are outside our direct control, and we cannot guarantee they meet the same standard.

If you come across a barrier that stops you using this site, we want to hear about it. See the next section for how to get in touch.

Reporting a problem

If you experience any accessibility barriers on this website, please contact us so we can put it right and help you access the information you need.

Please include the page you were trying to use, the problem you encountered, and how you would prefer us to respond. We will aim to reply within a few working days.

Enforcement

If you are not happy with how we have responded to your accessibility feedback, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com.

How this statement was prepared

This statement was prepared on 17 April 2026. It was based on a self-assessment of the site against WCAG 2.2 AA using manual keyboard testing, automated checks, and a review of the content and design system. We review the site and this statement whenever significant changes are made.
